Brian Otieno
I'm Brian. I left a hotel job in Kisumu to show visitors the western Kenya I grew up in. I'm early, and I'd rather have one honest partner than ten polite ones.
Build Kenya never processes payments. One founder, one partner — agreements are signed directly between the two of you.
This is a complete Build Kenya profile: the founder first, then the business, then one clear opportunity. Every section carries a short note explaining what it's for — so when you write your own, you already know the shape of a strong, honest profile.
Founder
Why I started this business
For four years I watched tourists pass Kisumu on the way to somewhere else while my neighbours — fishermen, weavers, cooks — had stories nobody stopped to hear. I started Safiri with one borrowed van and a WhatsApp group. What I want is for the money visitors spend here to stay in the homes they visit. My dream is that a young person in this town can build a career in tourism without leaving for Nairobi.
Write it in your own voice: the problem you lived through, why it matters, and what your dream is. Two honest paragraphs beat a page of adjectives.
